After studying Communication Sciences, Barbara went straight into advertising. She worked in some of the largest international advertising agencies, spending 11 years at Young & Rubicam, New York and 13 years as International Creative Director at Grey Worldwide /Düsseldorf. She received a degree in Systemic Coaching and is founder of the Red Ribbon Career Company/ Düsseldorf. She counsels and trains managers and executives in all lines of business. Barbara is Associate Professor at the Euro Business College/ Düsseldorf.She also lectures at the University of Applied Sciences, Düsseldorf.
„ In countless presentations I witnessed how dry facts can become exciting and inspiring when they are „wrapped“ effectively. How the audience loves to be wowed. How a surprising HOW creates admiration for the WHAT –and also for the presenter himself.

But quite often it broke my heart when I had to watch how a good concept or a great idea fails to make an impression cause the presenter didn´t know how to stir up excitement. How just delivering the facts isn´t enough and often leaves the audience unimpressed cause the presenter lacks emotions. If the presenter fails to express his or her own enthusiasm about the content, the audience won´t be enthusiastic either. And that is very sad. Sad for the idea. Sad for the time and money spent. And tragic for the opportunity missed.
